SO these are some more pictures of my babies at trunk or treat. The last two pictures are not of a UFO (although I admit it looks possible). I put them on here for my sister, who lives in Florida, and will miss this amazingly peaceful, beautiful scene this fall. This is the sight we saw coming home tonight. First let me say that we dont live in a cornfield, but in Iowa you can live in the middle of a city and just a few blocks from you could be a field. We live on the outskirts of town but this was the first time this fall i had seen it- my favorite thing....I wait all year. if you dont know what Im talking about...then you have for sure, never lived in Iowa. Its a combine, late at night harvesting the corn that will soon be used to fuel our country, our tummies, our livestocks tummie, and our cars. It is nothing short of absolute beauty to me. Enjoy.....

I DO love it!!! And I so miss it. I taught the farm unit last week, and these FL kids just have not the foggiest idea. The concept of where leather comes from and where meat comes from is a horrifying shock to them EVERY year. Oy.
The kids look precious, and not too freezing. :) I really miss the fall. Sigh.
